Formerly known as "Tubular", the Kappa Platform is a New
RWD platform Designed for the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn SKY, which are going into production in 2005 or 06. Other concepts
show on this platform were the Chevy Nomad and the Saturn Curve. While the Solstice and SKY are the only official
cars on this platform, It has been speculated that GM may build versions of it's Buick Bengal concept (converting it from
Front- to rear-drive) and Chevrolet Bel Air concept on this platform also. Cross your fingers!
